Bible Study

First Presbyterian Church of Forney Serving God through: Intentional Faith Development

• We provide education on Sunday mornings for all ages.
• We have a Wednesday evening program for all school age children and youth through high school.
• There are multiple opportunities to gather and study God’s Word each week.
• Bible Study is held Weekly on Monday afternoons and Tuesday evenings.

Fellowship

First Presbyterian Church of Forney Serving God through:
Radical Hospitality

• Everyone is welcome here! We are a small but diverse church with a big heart.
• As a priority we are committed to forming relationships with other Christians.
• We have fellowship with one another each Sunday.
• We have meals together on fifth Sundays. Our last event was a Chili Cook-off on January 30, 2011
• We are beginning a small group (Divine Diners) who will have dinner together in each other’s homes or restaurants in 2011.

Youth

Community Outreach

First Presbyterian Church of Forney Serving God through: Risk Taking Mission and Service

• We are committed to seeing ourselves as sent into the world, fulfilling Christ’s mission in word and deed, being deliberate witnesses for Jesus Christ, offering his saving grace, his compassion, his love to those in need.
• We are committed to bring ethics, integrity, and justice to our workplaces, homes, schools, marketplaces, and community.
• We are committed to discerning God’s will for ourselves as individuals and as the Body of Christ, the church.
• Currently we are involved with building a second water well in Zimbabwe, stressing to our congregation and the community of Forney the need to be good stewards of the earth, providing school supplies for children in Forney, supporting the local food pantry financially as well as with food, serving the homeless at The Bridge in Dallas, supporting a missionary who works with street children in the Ukraine, disseminating information and numbers against domestic violence.
