We believe that all power in heaven and earth is given to Jesus Christ by God, making Jesus Christ the head of the church. Christ gives to the church its faith and life, its unity and mission, its officers and ordinances. In our worship and service of God, we strive to do the will of God under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The church belongs to God
Devotion
We are committed to the relevant preaching and teaching of God’s word and the power of prayer in our corporate life and our individual lives. We are committed to regular worship of our Lord and to regular celebration of the Sacraments.
Well-being
We are committed to confessing our sins, knowing God is faithful and just to forgive them. We are committed to offering encouragement to others and to receiving encouragement from others also. We are committed to offering and seeking support and healing when we or others are suffering physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
Fellowship
We are committed to forming relationships with other Christians a priority in our lives. We are committed to sharing who we are in fellowship with those who are different from us. We are committed to providing and participating with other Christians in small groups designed for study, prayer, sharing, singing, learning, serving, etc.
Stewardship
We are committed to managing our money, our behavior, our power, our time, our talents, our speech according to God’s will. We are committed to giving of ourselves, our talent, our time, our money to the Lord’s work by making offerings of generosity and also in secret gifts to persons in need as the Lord leads us.
Reconciliation
We are committed to bringing people to lives of discipleship, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and nurturing them in their faith. We are committed to the unity, well-being, and relationships of our own families. We are committed to seeking to be at peace with all people, restoring broken relationships through the practice of confession, forgiveness, and deliberate acts of love.
We are committed to practicing hospitality, regularly inviting people to our church home, developing new friendships, and deepening old ones. We are committed to value every person without regard for race, gender, faith, culture, ability, or sexual orientation. We value dialogue and friendship between people of differing perspectives.
Ministry and Mission
We are committed to seeing ourselves as sent into the world, fulfilling Christ’s mission in word and deed, being deliberate witnesses for Jesus Christ, offering his saving grace, his compassion, his love to those in need. We are committed to bring ethics, integrity, and justice to our workplaces, homes, schools, marketplaces, and community. We are committed to discerning God’s will for ourselves as individuals and as the Body of Christ, the church.
Spiritual Gifts
We are committed to recognizing our own spiritual gifts and in helping others to recognize their gifts from God. We are committed to using those gifts in the service of the Lord.
Sharing the Good News
We are committed through what we say, what we do, and the joy on our faces to share the good news of God’s love through the saving grace of Jesus Christ and the enabling power of the Holy Spirit.
